Ellena is a service developed by the TRAP-RCUB team. Each repository developed by TRAP-RCUB is supplied with an independent instance of Ellena. The source code is not open and the service is avaiable to repository managers from the institutions having a TRAP-RCUB repository.
Repository managers have access to all the features of Ellena. Through a dashboard, which offers a list of all users registered in the repository, they can appoint additional users of Ellena, e.g. community or collection managers, and grant them privileges to change/correct and/or import metadata.
Ellena enables:
- metadata normalization (esp. names, funding information, etc.);
- massive metadata corrections;
- assigning ORCID iDs
- metadata import (xml, RIS, CrossRef, Dissem.in, cloning).
